Today, after rehearsal for the show, I was standing outside school when I "happened" to eavesdrop on a girl who was apparently arguing with her boyfriend on the phone. Well I actually don't know who it was, her phone was loud enough for me to hear that she was arguing with a young man. They exchanged "I love you" a couple of times followed by a "but", which made me laugh..lol Well the point of the story is that, after a couple of minutes of arguing, the girl ended up telling the guy "Well I've told you that now I have a job and I'm making my own money so I can forget about you!" After I heard this I was like whaaa daa faahhkkk! How stupid is the guy she was talking to that he did not leave her after the first time she told him that? Then I realized that it is actually really sad that women still feel that they need a man to be financially stable. She was just a gold digger and she got me mad, but at least she has a job now and is an independent woman..lol Poor guy, I'm sure he still didn't have any idea what she really meant when she told him that..haha
